  Benefit Services Division  

Benefit Services Division caters to providers of benefits administration and recordkeeping services. The Benefit Services Division Team includes people with vast amounts of experience in servicing benefit plans - especially retirement plans. That focused experience along with Radiant's overall technical expertise and resources enables the Benefit Services Division to offer a strong line-up of services.

Benefits service providers are increasingly becoming aware of the importance to streamline and automate their operations. Those that do reap the benefits of reduced costs and increased client satisfaction.

However, to do so puts additional resource strain on already overloaded IT departments who must focus on daily operations. Key strategic development projects are put on “the list” that continues to grow longer. Further, Business areas are already overloaded and cannot commit dedicated resources to improvement projects.

Radiant's Benefit Services Division focuses on these needs. Since it is comprised of a team that came from the recordkeeping industry, we understand the issues that confront benefit service providers.

Transition to New Recordkeeping Systems - migration of records from existing legacy system to new system including record review, control totals, quality checks, training on new system, review of processes
Daily Operations - processing of daily records, quality review, reconciliation of assets to records, inquiry/problem resolution and correction
Converting/Implementing New Clients - extensive knowledge of converting records and assets from prior recordkeepers reconciling records to records, assets to assets and records to assets. Also, established procedures and client documentation to set client expectations and role, establish on-going data requirements, enrollments and daily administration
Significant OmniPlan and OmniPlus Experience as well as with Pyramid Digital Solutions (PDS) products - experts with the Omni system with complete understanding of data elements, transactions, history and inner workings along with limitations and danger areas. Knowledgeable on PDS's suite of ancillary products including Participant web, CSR web and VRU and setup including GDP's.
Training - training on the OmniPlan/Plus and PDS products as well as other recordkeeping systems.
Process Review / Six Sigma / Source of Problem Identification and Resolution - utilization of parts of Six Sigma process review including scope definition, cross-functional teams, "as is" and "should be" processes and action items.
Participant Helpline and Sponsor Client Service - participant CSR servicing as well as Account Management
Databases - user, department or enterprise experience focusing on centralizing data and collapsing existing ones
Imaging and Workflow - needs analysis, integration, implementation, flow definition and tracking.
In addition, our IT staff and resources enable us to identify, design, build, host and implement IT solutions.
Benefit Services Division has developed two applications specifically for the Benefits industry: PlanLinkZ and Data Translator.


PlanLinkZ
PlanLinkZ is the state-of-the-art method to collect participant data from Plan Sponsors. It is extremely user friendly for Plan Sponsors and efficient for recordkeepers. It is a powerful and comprehensive tool that connects Plan Sponsors to recordkeepers via the internet easing the normally painful process of gathering participant data.
PlanLinkZ was designed by highly experienced individuals from the recordkeeping industry. Their direct input focused our development on three areas:

Data Translator
Data Translator enables Providers to process data from Plan Sponsors that do not comply with the Provider's standard layout. Some Providers demand that Plan Sponsors provide data in their formats that can be difficult for them or very costly - and they complain that the Provider is too rigid. Other Providers accept the data and must then either manually adjust it or work from hardcopy - both of which are labor intensive and highly susceptible to error.

The Data Translator tool takes a client file and creates new ones that comply with your standards and are recognizable by your existing systems. This extremely useful tool stores templates so that the next time the Plan Sponsor submits the data it can be translated extremely quickly.
